This was my second time going on a Lighthouse Medical Missions Team to the nation of The Gambia. The first time I went was in 2009. This time it was very exciting because there was a large contingent of young people that brought a youthful perspective to our team. They made you laugh and have fun, and at the same time they were very serious about why they were there. If you have never been on a missions team to another country, I urge you to go. We gave medical attention to the bodies of the people, but more important we told them about Jesus and how to have a hope for the future.
