This is the first of 3 March 11/11 vids. Today, March 11/11, was going to be a busy day at McGivney. CN X121, Q121, X474, M305 and possibly M308 and L535 were on the docket. I arrived at 0900. I checked the crossing to see if the ice and snow had been cleared out on the inside of each rail and it looked like it had so I took from that I had somehow missed X121. As forecast, the weather worsened, it started a rain/sleet/snow/fog mix and the wind increased. I must apologize for my hand bobbing in and out of the frames trying to keep the crap off the lens. I was going to cut those parts out but, it would have just left about a 60 second video. I had a problem with dirty heads in the handycam too. I had to eBay a head cleaner from China for Pete's sake. At 0922 the scanner revealed X474 was approaching Summit (to the west). I also thought RTC said Q121 was being held at North Cains (to the east). Maintainers were replacing a broken rail west of McGivney and they'd be done by 100! 0. At 1003 the restriction was cancelled. Having heard this and missing X121, I decided to go up to the East end switch to catch X474. A couple of minutes later I was surprised to hear the crossing bells go off and out of the snow/rain/fog, headlights appear and it was Q121 or so I thought; time 1023. On the point, an SD70M-2 #8883, 2nd - Dash 9-44CW #2559, 3rd - Dash 8-40CM #2417 with a 153 intermodals. I then heard dispatch contact X474 to report that X121 will take siding at Napadogan.
